Re: what do you do ?

I work at a big Carpenter shop making high quality german staircases.
My Job is just about everywhere. Mostly CNC Programmer and Network Administrator.
The rest of the time I always find something to plan, sand, paint or install.

After High School I joined the Army and became a Tank Turret Repairman.
That was a blast.

That is cool. My daughter is almost done with her MLT degree. She plans on going on to get her MT and eventually wants to go into Pathology.

Re: what do you do ?

During the day, oriental rug sales here

By night, "facilities management" (cough*Janitor*cough) here

I've been working 70 hours a week (all of it on my feet) for about six months, while my wife looks for a job. But in this economy, I feel lucky just to be employed, even if I am a college-educated janitor.

Re: what do you do ?

Full time student at the University of Georgia, majoring in Forestry.

By taking a semester off, switching majors and general screwing around I've put myself on the extended five year road to graduation, hopefully the job market will have picked back up by that point.

- And almost forgot, during the summers and the occasional weekend I work at an old school full service gas station in Atlanta (Tucker to be exact). My official job title is something like station attendant, I generally just tell people that I'm an amateur grease monkey. I've had that gig for two years or so now, I've known all the guys there ever since I can remember so it's fun for the most part.

Re: what do you do ?

During the week I'm a Fire Protection technician.
I inspect and repair Fire alarms, Fire sprinklers & Fire Suppression systems

On the weekends I renovate my old house and truck.
The house is taking so long, it's time to renevate rooms I already did once before.

Re: what do you do ?

I am a cabinetmaker in a small "commercially oriented" shop. We make everything from a simple break-room remodel to entire floors full of cabinets for hospital wings, reception desks and architectural millwork.
