Re: Parting out 71 A/C Cab SWB
The trim is very nice, but it's probably driver quality. A few dings in it but very minimal. It cleaned up very nice.
The tail gate is trash. Sorry, it's bowed way out about 2 1/2 inches from the bed

Re: Parting out 71 A/C Cab SWB
sorry, the bed was grabbed by a local board member. Not to make you feel worse, but suprisingly it was in awesome shape and wasn't effected by the accident at all.

Re: Parting out 71 A/C Cab SWB
Hey Bryan, did you figure out why the steering wheel is sitting forward like that. I might be interested since I want to go 4 on the floor for my truck.

Re: Parting out 71 A/C Cab SWB
Brent, it's because the spring and washer is missing off of it. I actually have another non-tilt column that came out of my blazer that has it. I'll take it off it and throw it in to fix this one.

Do you know if the truck had drop springs or spindles on it?

Re: Parting out 71 A/C Cab SWB
I'll take another look, it had A/C but I don't think it was the correct motor. I don't think the A/C was hooked up, but I'll look.

Re: Parting out 71 A/C Cab SWB
Bryan, are those seat belts green? Similar to the hard to find green in the 69 trucks?
Side note... I'd hate to hear the story behind the carnage involved with the destruction of that truck.

Re: Parting out 71 A/C Cab SWB
TimR- The harness is just the complete cab harness($50), no engine or headlight harness. It's too mangled to try to get them out.
72BlckButy-I they are aqua blue, but the male end is very blue, so I'm thinking they are just faded. Story-Two tards get hammered and go out driving and wrap it around a tree. Run before the police get there and get caught a week later. Give the truck to the tow lot. (short version)
