suggestions for new alternator and battery

i'm needin to upgrade my alternator in my 72 chevy 3/4 ton with 350 because i'm putting subs and an amp in it. I'm wanting to get an internal regulated one with the one wire hookup i think. I was hopin to get like a 140 amp alternator to power every thing because its a big amp. Should i get a different battery to, cause i've heard its a good idea with that big of alternator

I would post this over in the Audio area. You will get more help on what you need.
Yes go with a bigger alternator but a 3 wire is better I think than the one wires in my opinion. Here are a few links for you, the first explains the mod for alternator.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

cs130 or cs144. There are many write-ups for this. Check the FAQs. I can do a step by step if you need it. Good Luck.
