TX, specifically San Antonio folks

I found this on CL. They may not have everything in stock, but I'm sure they can get what you need and you'd save big on shipping. I'm glad we finally have a place like this in town.

I've never heard of them. Wonder who he's sourcing his parts from?

Interesting, would save you on shipping if you were
close enough. Some of their prices are higher than a
few of our vendors here, but like I said no Shipping.

Wow, that's news to me as well. Maybe we need to get them on the board as a vender/sponsor. That way its a win/win

Re: TX, specifically San Antonio folks

I called these guys today, talked to the man who is apparently in charge, Pete is his name. Turns out he is predominantly a custom paint shop, and has just recently began dealing parts from his store and online. For those that aren’t in San Antonio, this is important to me because until now there hasn’t been a store in the area where you could walk in and reliably get these parts (that I was aware of at least). Plus most of the body shops themselves won’t touch a classic/custom car with a 10 foot pole. They would rather slap on a little Bondo and a new made-in-china fender and get their insurance money…as long as it’s a 1990 something Honda or Saturn etc. Anyway, I am by no means going to turn my back on the wonderful site venders we have here, but I am at least going to give this guy a chance. I think I will try to go by his shop sometime this week and check it out first hand.

Re: TX, specifically San Antonio folks

Yeah I found that out too about it being a body shop, but either way, I'm glad that we finally have some place to buy stuff for our trucks locally. I'd still use our vendors for the smaller stuff that either this place doesn't carry or that is cheaper, but for items that would kill me in shipping charges, I'd just buy at this place.
