Escalade Wheels on my '69?

Hey guys, I just scored some brand new in the box 17" Escalade chrome wheels. I know I'll need some spacers to make them fit since they have 5.5" of backspacing, but how much should I have front and rear? I plan on running 275/55/17 tires all the way around. I know someone has used these before on our '67-'72 trucks, so help me out guys.

Thanks!!

Re: Escalade Wheels on my '69?

I tried a set of escalade wheels looked good but didn't put them on. on the front hub if I remember I would have needed 1 1/5 spacers to keep them from rubbing the A frame and more so the center cap would go on. best thing jack the truck up and put them on then turn steering wheel to see where they will hit. have a tire shop put a used tire of the size you want. the center hole was tight but did go on.

Just from looking, I will prob put a 1.5" billet spacer up front and a 3.0" spacer in the back.
