American Racing Daisy 200-s wheels

I have been looking like crazy for a pair of these wheels in 15x7 for the front of my truck . I have these for the rear and would like to run this setup for a while . The new ones are two piece and dont look the same . I see these all over when I am not looking for them . Any ideas on where or how to search for these . I contacted AKH wheels and he has a pair but they are pricey . Any one have any other ideas where to look for an out of production wheel like this . I really want to get these on the truck for a while as I search for 20's .

Re: American Racing Daisy 200-s wheels

This is an old picture, but I ran these up until about a week ago. I liked them but just wanted a change. I had them for 20 yrs. I had 15x8 on the fron and 15x10 on the back. You can't get them through American Racing.?

The ones I have are one piece cast and Am Racing hasnt made them for years . AKH wheels has a pair but the $590 plus shipping for the pair is more than I want to spend . A lot more . His are nice and I wouldnt have cried at $400 but at $625 or so after shipping , I am out . I even offered to trade in a complete set of 15x8.5 and 15x10 for his pair . He said no thanks which is fine . I understand he has a bit of work in restoring the wheels .

Re: American Racing Daisy 200-s wheels

I posted on your ad in the Parts section. I know EXACTLY where you're at right now. I called AKH and nearly had a heart attack when he gave me the price on a pair of 15X7s. I used to see those wheels all the time until I actually started looking for them. I found a few sets in the 5x4.75 bolt pattern, but the 5X5 pattern is much harder to find. I remember when those wheels were very popular on the full-size trucks and the vans when the van craze was hot. They have all but vaporized. I'll look around out here for you if you want. Like any part, when you're not looking they are everywhere.

Another thing. If you have to buy center caps, just remember that many of the 200S copies have a different diameter center than the originals, and the American caps might not fit. It's not too hard to get around, though.

It's funny that I went through the same stuff you're going through not quite 6 months ago.
