That sucks. Thoughts and prayers with you and your cousin's families. I didn't think that post sounded like you, but was just poking fun. Didn't think it was anything that bad.

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...

It does have some axial plunge. Maybe 0.5"-0.75". The amount needed depends on the set up of the 4-link; bar lengths, arc range, static shaft angle, etc. I have mine set up with the lower bars level to the chassis at static ride height.

Those ancient dudes had me beat I'm afraid to say. Slave labor does have its advantages.

They had the treasury blocked off because there's further excavation in progress. They've discovered another level below!

Psf! Weren't no slaves. That was cut with lasers by aliens.

They have been poking around that place for nearly a century and they are STILL finding new stuff! I'd bet there is still more, I just hope it is not like "Ghosts of Mars."

Very cool! Work or fun? On a slightly similar note, went to the King Tut exhibit at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Caught it before it closed this past weekend. Very cool! BUT, would be waaaay cooler to travel over and see the buildings, excavations, statues, pyramids.

Yes it's Petra, in Jordan, where they shot those Indy scenes. Amazing is an understatement! They say the city is only 1% excavated.

This build is absolutely amazing!!! Its the reason I joined this site. I have been gathering some tools and parts to start a f20c swap in my xr4ti. There is something about these engines and I have to have it in my Merkur lol. Thanks for the inspiration and awesome work!!

DUUUUUUUUUUDE, you won't believe this; my brother had a Merkur that we used to bomb around in back in the 90's! I still have a soft spot for them. They make great drifters and a F20C/XR4TI would be awesome! You gonna do a build thread?

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...

Yeah, Im a big mustang fan but I picked this thing up cheap and I love it!! I'm going to address some issues with it first before I start the swap, but I'm definitely going to do a build thread. This is going to be my fledgling fabrication, so I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of questions and problems along the way lol.

Thought about building the roterator myself but these guys have a nice design and my time is very limited. I'd rather get the car done!
