Re: 3/4 ton axles
In '67 4x4 half tons, I have seen Dana 44's in BOTH ends! So half ton rears would be Dana 44 or 12 bolt for 69-72 and 12 bolts 73 through '80 or so, and 10 bolt through '87. Rears would have been either Dana 60's or Eatons in 3/4 tons 67-72. As above, 14 bolt DID NOT show up until 73. I know where a one ton 4x4 is with a Dana 44 front, so it must be a 76 or earlier? I have an '86 one ton dually that has a Dana 60 front, but it has a Dana 70 rear. The 14 bolt dually rears were in cab and chassis trucks, the Dana 70 in pickups.

Re: 3/4 ton axles
Well lets keep the hi jack going....I picked up a front axle out of a 2002 f250 superduty with the 7.3, and low and behold it is a dana 50. It looks the same as a 60 untill you pull the cover and find a smaller ring gear. I dont know if 2002 was the last year or if there are more.
