Re: rollpan vs. chrome bumper

i wanted to roll pan out my lifted 83 cause it hought it looked cool..
then a few weeks ago i got rearended by a focus and have totally decided against a roll pan..
if a lil car like that can go under me while im at a dead stop at a red light.. it would surley have destroyed a pretty roll pan...
im all about bumpers unless your truck i sjust tooo low to truly use them..
but then... if you r coming in or out of a driveway then there's alllways the chance of scraping up the pretty roll pan...

do they make reinforced rollpans? like bumper thick roll pans?

Re: rollpan vs. chrome bumper

Any style gets 2 thumbs up from me! Much better than my current step bumper that sticks out

Re: rollpan vs. chrome bumper

To decide which I like better I need to see a rear shot of your truck. I like both depending on the style of the truck.

Re: rollpan vs. chrome bumper

My truck came from the factory with a sport bumper. I swapped it out for a roll pan from Sir Michaels. What a mistake. First off, the roll pan is illegal in California, the integrated taillights/back-up lights are mediocre at best, and the sport bumper just looks better on my truck, IMHO.
