What was a camper carnival?
So my aunt gave me an old first aid kit from a 72 chevy truck. Still has all of the original stuff inside of it. Anyways the reason why I posted is because it says "Camper Carnival", never heard of that before. I am sure alot of guys on here have heard of it and some I assume even own or owned one.
If you know what made a truck a camper carnival series please let me know. I would assume like a "Highlander" version something made it different from regular trucks. If anyone has any pics please feel free to post them. |

Re: What was a camper carnival?
Pics look great. I have a 19" monitor and they look fine to me.
Can't speak for the rest of the group... but you know... Wish I could help, but I have no idea what it means. D

Re: What was a camper carnival?
Looks like it may be a promotional item for either the "custom camper", trucks or the 1 ton motorhomes.
Just my guess.

Re: What was a camper carnival?
My Grandma had a First Aid kit in her '66 Caprice, that 72 one is pretty sweet.

Re: What was a camper carnival?
I wonder if that came in the 72`s with the motor homes in the rear, instead of a bed

Re: What was a camper carnival?
I have one of those as well and it was a promo item. It may have been listed as part of the accessory item as well. They are a pretty rare item, but one on ebay currently for $64. Neat piece for show trucks imo.

Re: What was a camper carnival?
Thanks for the info. everyone. Just assumed it was a name of a type of truck, never crossed my mind that it could be talking about a promotional event. Thats what I like about this place every 67-72 question can be answered here!

Re: What was a camper carnival?
Why not just reproduce the sticker and slap it on a new first aid kit?

Re: What was a camper carnival?
I'll bet that nothing in the kit is sterile anymore! BTW, go to Microsoft's website and look up "Powertoys for Windows XP" (if that's what you're running). Just find and install the image resizing application. It makes resizing pictures a heck of a lot easier.

Yeah! Im sure anything that isn't still sealed is not useable anymore. Thanks for the tip Dark Knight, on re sizing the pics I will check it out. When it comes to computers I need all the help I can get.
