Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Thank you Brad for the nice comment.
I got it in August but sent it out for rewiring which took forever. Put a new fuse panel and wired from EZ Wiring, all new gauges, the lights are actually bright, the signals work, emergency flashers (!) and stuff like a real truck, ha ha ha! I;ve got lots to do on it, but I tell myself, "I'm pacing myself". I plan on posting here until I get tossed for being a non '47-'59. |

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Dan the 41-46 are really cool trucks, my next build will be one of those. i am actually helping a friend build his 1940. maybe the mods can set up a 41-46 category. stovebolt is the only board I know of for those. stick around anyway, nice truck

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
ssons, That truck looks cool. Do you have a clearer shot of those rims? Were they Torque Thrusts?
My dad drove me around in his '59 long bed fleetside the whole time I was a kid. He swapped in a 283 for the straight six, and later a 348. It was a screamer too. |

Acquired my 1947 Chevy from my Grandfather who bought it new... Got it home about two months ago and working on getting it running. I think I have my work cut out! Always open for suggestions, advice and information. Thanks.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Oh yeah, it's a tree. It was a good 3 or so inches in diameter coming right up between the cab and the bed. Crazy! It was a persistent little booger too. Took about an hour or so to cut it out.
