Parts find score: Center console bezel

I had already purchased and returned an aftermarket center console bezel plate from LMC (no. 2 in the consoles section listed below) because I was disappointed with the quality. The part LMC sells is a reproduction version that costs $44.95. Any machine shop could make this for you for much cheaper. The product LMC sells is just a thin sheet of brushed stainless that is cut with a water jet. All the edges were rough and the ash tray area was not stamped and recessed as the original was. I guess it's better than nothing if the parts are not available anymore...


But I stumbled across this NOS original GM console bezel on ebay a few weeks ago and got it for $34 plus $8.50 for shipping. I received it and it is perfect. It's so nice it's a shame to use it. I would have paid four times what I paid for this no longer produced part just to get it.

This is the insert that goes around ash tray and seat belt holders on the console between the bucket seats in 1969 thur 1972 Blazers and 1967 thur 1972 pickups with bucket seats. It's a new old stock GM item, so you know it will fit. It has a brushed finish from the factory. I peeled back the top covering so you could see that it's perfect.On the back side it has another peel off to glue to the console. You do get the factory envelope with it.!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS IS A NO RESERVE ITEM!!!!!!!!!!!! GM part # 3944820 GR. 16.650 This is a long ago discontinued part.
