Just sold my CST
Stuck a for sale sign in my '69 last week & the first guy that stopped to check it out came back today with a check in his hand. He will come get it next week. He is a retired guy that needs something to tinker on & said he wont ever sell it. Im good friends with his son & he said it WILL be his someday. That made me feel a little better.
It bums me out but with the economy the way it is, I didnt really have a choice & I knew for a while that Id have to do this. I got what I was asking so thats always a plus. Hope to hunt down a short stepper later on. |

Sorry man. That S10 will get ya around much cheaper though. You'll no doubt be back in another C10 'fore too long.

Re: Just sold my CST
Well its official, he got the truck yesterday.
Wife said, "Good, now sell that other truck". She said "Two motorcycles, an S10 & a work car are too many" & something about her only having one rig. I said... "You have two, dont forget your riding lawnmower". She wasnt impressed, but I think she got the point. Maybe not... It was a little sad seeing someone else drive away in something that I put so much work into. Im watching out for a short step project, dont tell the wife! |

Re: Just sold my CST
Yeah I sold my 02 jetta to get rid of the payment. Selling my 67 wont accomplish anything. I would just loose my truck and all the work that went into it. The only way I would sell it would be if I t would make a house payment to get me by until i could go back to work. Or something. Other than that it would just be throwing in away in my case. I have had to give this alot of thought too lately corn so I know where you are. Sorry man

Re: Just sold my CST
I feel ya. I'm going on 5 months
I know it sucks to sell yours, but it's a great time to find someone else's truck in a worse situation than you (I know that sounds bad ) I thank God my wife is doing so well. I get to keep all of my toys... for now. If I don't go back to work by the time my unemployment runs out......
