Re: show me your clearance lights

Here is picture of mine, they wire up easy, I bought mine as a kit from LMC, the 5 lights are daisy chained together, with the ground at each light, then one wire I ran down the A pillar to the fuse box and the running light circuit. The hardest thing about the whole process was getting the wire down the A pillar. My truck does not have a headliner and it was a pretty easy process.
I also prefered the lights equally spaced out rather than the 3 center ones close together and the the 2 ends ones a little farther apart. I added the ones between the bumper and tailgate like the new models have too.

Re: show me your clearance lights

pokes i love you man..
that looks ghetto =-) (well on your truck)
but if you DO decidde to get the roof lights.. DO NOT GET the cheapies..
get descent ones from a descent manufacture...
NOT WWALMART!
they'll rust..
then you'll have clearance lights hiding more rust on your truck..

I cut the ground leads to the outer lights and ran 2 extra wires from the turn signals up front to the old ground leads on the lights themselves just like the side markers are wired.

Re: show me your clearance lights

Here is a picture of mine the day I drug it home 6 years ago The dealer installed the clearance lights, and didn't do a very good job. Only one worked when I got it cause the bottoms were rotted out and were not grounding anymore. I fixed up the sheet metal and re-attached them, much better now! The glow from these things is awesome at night!

Re: show me your clearance lights

you have to run the wires in the cab dude and "daisy chaining"is just a term for a in "series circuit"...
basially connect all of your positives togther... off one wire
