Post Needed 66 4x4 Info

I have a 66 Chevy 4x4 sort bed step side ad am in need of information.

First, can anyone point me in the direction of where I might find a manual that covers the 4x4 running gear? I have Chevy's base shop manual and the 66 addendum but they don't include any 4x4 info.

Second, I'm in need of the front emergancy brake cable. Turns out the 4x4 has a unique cable (roughly 92" in length). Any ideas of where I might be abe to get a cable built from scratch?

i THINK www.inlinetube.com sells custom made e brake cables...... also im PRETTY SURE but not 100% postive the 66s use the same 4x4 setup as 67 4x4 trucks..... that would be a drum brake closed knuckle dana 44 with 12 bolt rear...... and rockwell tcase.. (if 1/2)

The 60-66 trucks used the closed knuckle/drum brake dana 44 front axle in both a 1/2 and 3/4 tons. 1/2 tons used a 12 bolt rear, while the 3/4 tons used the big, corperate full floater rear. The transfer case is a rockwell/timken T-221 for both trucks. It is divorce mounted from the tranny, unlike the 67-72's.
