Aftermarket S duct problems.

Am I the only one, but I am trying all I can do to get my aftermarket S duct to work with my A/C system so I can get some defrosters to work and I cannot get it to fit. I am trying everything short of sawing and gluing to get it to work. Anyone have any ideas that may work for me!!!

TIA

Mike

Re: Aftermarket S duct problems.

Are you talking about the passenger side defroster duct?

I am talking about the S duct that connects the floor vent with the defrost outlets to the main diverter box off of the heater core box. I will try and get some pictures tonight, do not have my camera at work with me!!!
Thanks
Mike

#12 is the item that I am having trouble with. It will not fit on the piece to the left of it. I thought I had the wrong floor outlet, but the piece I have is correct. The damned thing just will not slip over the floor outlet!!!
Has anyone else had this problem???

Mike

Re: Aftermarket S duct problems.

try switching it end for end first. make sure that the rest is together right and tight, some times a hair dryer to warm up the plastic will make it expand just enough to slide over. last thought is that it's a miss match part.
