as original, there is a small wire with a fuseable link that goes from the battery poitive, to that terminal (junction block) on the fender. Then the vehicle wire harness attaches there, and 'feeds' the entire truck. The only positive wire that is not potected in the entire vehicle, is the main battery cable to the starter. The fuseable link will melt and protect the rest of the truck if something shorts out and the fuse doesn't blow, or if it is on one of the fes unprotected circuits.
