Saturday pics (4-18) Spring Rod Run
Here we are again guys! The weather was forecasted to be primo today so we loaded up in the 54 for our longest trip in it to date. The Grand Rod Run was this weekend and is usually THE place to be if you want to see thousands of cars and trucks scattered about. Let's move on to some pics!!
Double jeopardy/controversy here guys... a chopped top and a late model bed! ( Yep, That's Christy's 54 back behind it)  Can't get away from em can we...??      This joker has some tremendously wide rear tires...apparently they didn't photograph well.   This one was a Big Block A/C buckets Super Cheyenne...I think the price was 35K or so.

This ones got the look...
 Anyone got any ideas on how to make a new fully polished set of these have that old "as cast" texture to em??     All that tire and still running 5 lug 1/2 ton running gear...tsk, tsk...when are they gonna learn??

Quite possibly the coolest thing I saw today...

I'm happy that they're smart enough to turn loose of an old truck that they're probably not driving and don't need instead of loosing they're home or business. Besides, very few of us on this forum would have a truck to work on if it wasn't for someone else deciding that they didn't want it anymore! I'm not sure but I would bet that the number of one owner/original purchaser members here are very low.
