New Motor
My motor came today....YEAH!!!!!
So leave the valve covers or go with chrome?

A guy racing a swb pro street truck over here in bremerton was running 12.50s with a 450 hp 502 last year. Your going to have to much fun!

Chrome does not dissapate heat very good at all, and leaks, and will rust later down the road. Those covers are sooo much better than chrome, and look wayyy better.

That there is a GT350...NOT MINE. A friend of mine is doing the engine swap for me (with assistance from Mr Franklin) and he is working on it.....what was really interesting was an older Datsun 280 Z that was on jackstands with no motor and tranny. Though, I was shown around the corner a new ZZ4 crate motor that was being prepped for install into the Z... I am a Chevy guy as you can tell by my signature.

It is a crate motor from GM. I bought it from Larry at Sallee Chevy in Milton Freewater in OR. They have a fuel injected version of this motor called a 502 RAMJET. It includes everything you need computer and harness....pricey but what the hey.
