Thumbs up 1999/2006(2007 Classic) manual seat lift kit

For those of you with 1999/2006(2007 Classic) Silverado/Sierra’s without power seats, you may have noticed the front seats are extremely low and rather annoying. I found a great product to lift the seat up to a normal height in the 2005 Silverado HD WT I just bought.

Here is a link to the Ebay seller’s product. Their engineering was well thought out, shipping was lightening fast, the pieces were nicely packed, great instructions and even includes an Allen wrench to install the kit all for a decent price. I highly recommend this kit.

Good stuff…..check it out.

That's funny I thought I was the only one that noticed this problem! My wife, and everyone else that drives my 03 doesn't notice it. However our other company truck has the leather power seat, and it is like night and day.

Have you actually installed this kit? If so how do you like the difference?

Yes, it is a piece of cake to install and there is a huge difference. I really think these people did a great job creating this kit. My other Silverado has power seats and I never had an issue with it, like your work truck, but this plain Jane Silvy I just bought with a manual seat was terrible low to the point it was irritating.

Check out the installation pictures on the Ebay link. The kit is well worth the $$.

Yeah the seats in my 03 Sierra are irritatingly low also. I may have to check that out. I've often thought of doing something myself, but just never messed with it enough. For the price it does seem like a good deal.
