350 Performance Question

Im putting together a 350 and curious how its going to run and idle. Will it at all have a somewhat racy idle?
350 stock bottom end
flattop pistons
76 CC 1.94 1971 corvette LT1 heads (stock)
edelbrock performer rpm intake
holley 600 mechanical sec.
center dump manifolds with duals
Speed Pro Cam
# cs-1095R Hydraulic Cam

Specs on cam
.050 dur in. 224 EX 224
sae duration intake 291 EX 287
cam lift In. .300 EX. .307
valve lift In. .450 EX. .460
lobe centers IN 114 EX 114

With that cam, I'm guessing it is going to be a mellow idle with the 350. Is that a thumper cam? If so, I'm not sure how the idle is on those.

What is the rpm range that cam is speced for? For trucks, I usually try to get a cam that produces power in the lower rpm range. I think my cam is speced for 1500-5500 rpm range.

No its not a thumper cam. The info i found for it is.....
350cid/ 350 HP LT-1, L82 Hydraulic camshaft
2200-5500 RPM Range.

This cam is for my jeep which weighs 2600 pounds with me in it.

I'd go with a standard Performer or Performer EPS intake. Should make better low-end power and throttle response. I doubt you'll be turning much over 5500 with it anyway.

Thanks but i gotta stay with the combo i have. Im doing this project for my jeep which is gotta be as cheap as i can go. lol Gotta keep the real money for the C10. Im just curious how the power will be in it and the idle quality.
