"getting a trim"

started removing my drip rails after swapping roof skins. enjoy the pics.






heres what I did to lower it a little.

I'm curious about the process. Did the layers come apart, or do you weld and then cut a little? Ive been surprised at the tension some sheet metal is under after being formed....bedsides and tailgate, for instance.

well mine was completely apart because the roof was off a donor cab. so then i just pushed it down and slowly started tacking away. lots and lots of welding and grinding.
