Paint inspiration

Okay, so this has no informational value, but I thought the story was funny. I was fully planning on repainting my truck to look like the original color until last Sunday. Thats when I was over at my neighbors drinking beer out of the Bud Light 16 oz aluminum bottles and started really looking at the blue on that bottle!! So there we are in the driveway holding our beers up against the truck and thinking how sweet this truck would look in that color!!! So now, I'm going to have to figure out how to get that color matched. I can't wait to see the paint suppliers face when I take the bottle in and ask if they can match this color!

Re: Paint inspiration

Make sure you check out the color against the truck BEFORE you've had a few, and see if you still like it as nice!

Re: Paint inspiration

I have always said that would be a good color on a truck. Before or after drinking 2 or 12 of them.

Re: Paint inspiration

They have such sophisticated color matching technology now they can match any color from anything.. So you should be good to go! Be sure to post pics when you get it painted!! I have thought about that for years..

Re: Paint inspiration

I'll be sure to post. Now I can't decide if I want it to be one or two tone. I know it's going to be Bud Light blue especially since having a few

If you have an O'Reilly's in town that mixes paint they can match it.
