man I love the 395 goodyears, they ride like a normal AT tire and last like a rig tire. I actually have a spare set of them in my garage right now along with 6 of the 395 michelin xml's.

Nice!
How much did she cost?

I'm picking up a 89 dually for the cab and DRW axles to build a hunting rig.

It was a 3 for 1 deal, came with a 78 3/4 ton 2wd Suburban and a 1980 2wd halfton, two of the trucks had 454's. It was $1000 for all three, but I split it with my brother in law, so he paid half to get the two big blocks and the tranny and Tcase out of the crew. I get everything else.

let you in on a secret, it was my wife . used to have a 71 jimmy with a 12" lift & 39;s. all i ever heard was blah, blah, to high, blah, blah, stupidness, etc, so i went 8 this time. now i hear blah, blah, to old for this sh*t, etc, so i caved & let her buy me the sidesteps for xmas. i will admit, the steps save on pass. side door pins.
