grill swap curious?

I have a 72 cst blazer, and would love to have a GMC Jimmy.I think the easiest way is to change grills and related stuff. questions are what would be the diff level 1-10 (1 easiest) and would that require ghanging out the core support and fenders?

if you can turn a wrench you're 3/4 of the way there. Get a complete clip and swap it over.

If you have the "grills and related stuff" I would rate it at a level 2. As 72gmcshorty said the parts are 3/4 of the battle.

Re: grill swap curious?

I tried to edit my message to clarify a couple of points but the administrator wouldn't let me do it again.

The front fenders are different. Some folks have welded GMC headlight buckets on Chevy radiator supports. Having the 4 headlight wiring harness would help greatly.

Re: grill swap curious?

check craigslist. I know that there are a pair of fenders and a hood on there or become a suscribing member and post a wanted add on the parts board.
