I pulled a 292 from a 78 3/4 ton in a JY recently. I think the engine is orig in this case.

292s were the standard engine option in 3/4 and 1 ton in 78

I found it interesting for a few reasons. The 292, the mysterious long stepside, and the 14 bolt rear and 4 speed and np205. If I only had the money..
