If your still determined to do the swap, several of the board vendors sell 6-lug rotors for disc brake conversions (the rotors are basically 5-lug rotors w/a 6-lug pattern) that fit disc brake spindles.

sorry for bringing out a post from the dead, but i was browsing wheels r newer chevy 6 lug and they had the same backspacing listed as recommended for a 73-87. so im confused. i'll have to pm nate for some part numbers.
