I like the bumper. Trim the ends and fix it up a bit. I am not a step bumper person but a little work on the bumper should be nice.

I might be getting old, but I guess I'm not "wearing out" too fast, people give me odd looks when I tell them I've owned my truck for over 20 years (bought it a couple months before my 16th birthday in 1996).

Dr. Hewitt, read your whole post. I may try the same route you are going, you can still find some nice long beds and decent prices. My granddaughter lives in Winston Salem, I'm there quite often watching her play sports.

You guys are making me feel real good I'm not complaining about anything every day I can get another one is a blessing ..... no walker no medication no,blue pills needed
and I'm very thankful My latest project is the 69 ,when that model year hit the showrooms I graduated the 12th grade. Hehehe

It was a reman. it came with motor, harness, transmission, radiator, motor and tranny mounts, transfer case, radiator overflow, dual electric fans, computer, pretty much a complete change over kit
