68 Half Sevice bed?

Every once in awhile I check the cars for causes site for trucks. They currently have this truck listed and I thought it was unique as only one side of the stepside bed had service boxes instead of the fender. Take a look.

Re: 68 Half Sevice bed?

That`s an odd set-up.It looks like a former Dept of Interior truck. That`s pretty creative making a LUV gate work on a Stepside. What`s up with the spare well removed,I wonder?
I want a pair of those boxes for a longbed something fierce.

here are registration back fees in the estimated amount of $505.
...ahhhh yes. Yet another one of the stellar privelidges of living here in the "Golden State"!
Arnie can ***$%#$$%^ You get the idea.
Oh, and a smog pump on a '68...can you say "See Ya"!!
That would be the first thing to get pitched into the dumpster.
Nice truck but the back fees are more than the cost. Now you can see why so many "barn finds" end up in the shredder in this state.

Sad.....

Re: 68 Half Sevice bed?

$505 in back registration and a $150 processing fee, as well as no title. I don't think this truck is even worth the fees it would cost ot get it, much less any bid over and above that.

Re: 68 Half Sevice bed?

Kind of a piece. They took about a hundred pictures but stop just short of the parts you would want to see ,rockers cab corners etc.Not like I could buy it for parts and get it to R.I.anyway ,right?
