Talking 68 Quad Cab build

Just a note i have this same post running in the C10 Forum i just wanted to show more people of my build and ran across this Forum so hope that is cool with every one.... I did see that some of the people that are members in the C10 Forum are on here also, but there are many others i would like opinions from so enjoy...

Ok so here goes, this may run for a while as I build the truck, let’s keep this all civil as far as comments go everyone has his or her own preference on how things are done. I like opinions and ideas and I am open to them and here is my thanks in advance.

This is my new project I am taking my 68 Chevy and making me a quad cab 4 wheel drive (I love both 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive) here is a breakdown of my project:

68 Chevy long box pickup 1/2 ton (Main truck)
68 GMC long box pickup 3/4 ton (Secondary truck for parts)
70 Chevy Cab (this will be the back cab)
95 GMC Yukon (chassis will go under truck and parts from Yukon will be used inside etc…)

The plan is to use the 3 cabs to generate my main cab take the Chevy nose and use it, sell the GMC nose, take the best of the beds (both are long boxes) and shorten to a short box, strip the Yukon down for all my parts needed inside (power windows, door locks, etc…) take the Yukon clear down to chassis (the chassis is now for my 68 quad cab) stretch the chassis as needed (big stretch actually) I wanted to do a duramax but can’t afford to purchase one that is wrecked, I already own the Yukon and I wanted newer technology for my drive train. Wow this is a big project isn’t it, never felt that way till I listed everything out. So I have been working on it for about 2 months here are my pics and progress. I only get to work on this project on weekends and occasional evenings after work so bear with me on the time limit. Enjoy!!!
