what a/c lines will work???

i have an 87 silverado, originally had compressor and a/c condensor exits on driver side, original owner put a motor from a 96 without a/c, i put serpentine belts and brackets and condensor from a suburban and they go on the passenger side, one prob, the suburban lines have extra lines that go to the rear a/c, i plugged one with a bolt and worked fine, i used a metal putty on the other that seemed to work, until a day and the freon seeped thru is there any lines without the extra pieces that will work on my truck?? will get pics tomorro if needed, thanx in advance for any help

Re: what a/c lines will work???

No, not all came with rear air. What year was the burb? Try a different year, maybe one year up or one down.

Re: what a/c lines will work???

Yeah, I think the burb we had when I was on the fire department was an 89, and it had no rear air.
