now its time to blast the cab fix the bad spots and put it in primer. Im working on the frame still i just finished boxing the frame yesterday now i need to do the fish plates. should i weld them fully? im using 1/8" plate. what are common offsets for rear wheels? i wanna run about a 12" wide tire. Axle recommendations?

I have always seen fishplates fully welded! Good progress being made, nice big shop to work in... good luck with your build.

im going to bag it. 4 link in the rear porterbuilt streetrod's drop member in the front. auto meter guage's, 383 stroker w/ 700r4 trans. 20" american racing with black centers, chrome rings. truck will be blue (unsure what shade) not sure if im keepin the bench seat. im going to shave marker lights, antenna, firewall, cowl. rollpan rear bumper front. gonna try to stay away from 2 much chrome.

yeah the picture of the truck fully assembled the frame was not notched. brothers sells a frame notch kit the will let you go about 2 inchs lower that the picture. i think its like 150 bucks it requires little cutting and it bolts in place. and you can still use your stock suspension.
