Need some help on fuel lines and brake lines
I'm putting together me 1972 C10 swb. I am wondering if I can get some help in deciding if I should run stainless fuel & brake lines or not? Also in doing so, should I make my own lines or does anyone have suggestions on a kit to buy on both brake and fuel lines that will save me time and headaches that fits great?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Need some help on fuel lines and brake lines
Do not use stainless as it is harder and will not seal as well. The softer steel lines will conform to the sealing surfaces and create a nice leak free seal. There is a good reason the oem used regular steel. I would buy a kit unless you want to make your own for the fun of it. It's a lot of work to make your own and requires good cutting and flaring techniques and tools.

Re: Need some help on fuel lines and brake lines
2nd inline tube for brake lines. I used stainless and bent my own for fuel line. Got the stainless line from a shop that does home/Commerical A/C heating. Had huge rolls of 25ft long. But did find it difficult to bend.
