Re: 5x5 to 5x4.5 adapters?
i havent got a clue about offsets. i'm used to throwing a set of cragars or something on and being done with it. finally got my stuff together and going to build a decent truck on a budget. splurged on the drop with the best i could find. paint/body is free. just got to worry about the interior(burb swap), motor/trans/rear swap(hopefully big block or LT1???), and rims. i'm just stuck on what to do with the rims. course i can take my credit card and go spend 3000 for rims and tires by some overpriced company, but i want to go with a set of take offs...
saw someone on here put a set of 18's from a tahoe on his truck and it looked quite nice, except it was a bit of a big tire.
i just found a set of 86 monte ss rims in my garage but i dont think they're the same bolt pattern as the truck.
i'd be happy if i could run a set of silverado ss rims(believe there 20's) or a nice newer tahoe/suburban set(think theyre also 20's, but with much lower profile tires. i'll see what the yard has up the road from me. i know he just got a wrecked SS in and might see what he wants for the drivetrain/rims...
