Throw the manifold into an old oven and heat it to 400 degrees for an hour. After it cools down, soak the problems in a good penetrant. WD40 is not a good penetrant. Get something like Liquid Wrench or PB Blaster. Now, weld a nut onto the stud nice and hot. Once it cools down, screw it out.

For the pipe plugs, get a big nut like a 1 inch wrench size. Grind the old fitting down even and square and weld the nut onto it. Remove fitting.

I did this old intake a month ago using these tricks.
