Re: Buying a 1961 Chevy long stepside
There is a thread created by Wongeroo that details on what to look for when buying a 60-66. Maybe you would like to read this first. K these trucks new sold for around $2500.00 new at the time for a base model. Take some pictures of the truck and show it to the members so they can help you make a better decision.

The metal isnt that bad, a couple dents and minimal rust. I will try to get a picture up soon. But I've been thinking about it and I think im going to take it.

Re: Buying a 1961 Chevy long stepside
The person im buying it from was going to sell it to someone in L.A. for $2500. But, she is a family friend and knew I wanted a truck and said I can have it for $1500. She also said some one was willing to pay her $1000 just for the engine but she wanted the entire thing gone. I will try to post a pic soon.
