New Steering wheel
Got a new steering wheel to try instead of the Camaro steering wheel I have on it now. ( click link to pics ) . Its off a 88 up Chevy.
Any body ever put one on theirs ? If so what has to be done with the horn ? I forget what it looks like down in there.

Well, my blazer has that four spoke Chevy steering wheel stock from the factory. Also bought one from an '88 pick-up for something like $20, and they're identical. As for the horn there should be a wire coming from the button that mounts in the steering wheel hub with a sort of a spring setup. All it really does is grounds the button though, like a simple switch.

Paul you need to run to a dealer and grab the yellow horn wire. They should know what you're talking about. It will have a female end on one side and the other will be a flat round piece (contact) then a brass spring and then a black tube with a nub on the ends. Mount the new steering on and the plastic tube coming up from the column (contact ring) will be where the contact, tube and spring will go into. Press down and turn clockwise. The nub will lock in place. Then connect the wire to the button and finish install.

i have one and I love it! And on my 86 it was a simple swich, just insert the yellow wire into the horn nub, and install the wheel like the factory one.

I just put one of those on my 70 and love it.
The one that it replaced just wasn't comforable for me................
