Here's a few shots of my '69 with the 7's up front and the 8's in the rear; the only major change I would consider would be to change the tires. Currently the truck is running 235 75R15's on all four corners.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

Looks really nice!

GM should have built them at this ride height!

Also the 15x7's up front look perfect. I guess I'm biased. Ha.

I was told vans,... years ago by a guy that sold nothing but wheels and hubcaps. I've seen the big "bowtie" center cap decals on blazers also.
You have to remember that these wheels were used originally on the 73-87 trucks. (never on the 67-72 from the factory) That means that all the 2wd ralleys were 5-lug and all the 6-lug ralleys came on 4x4 equipped trucks. The 15x7 is just a rare wheel that most people don't know exist. When I bought these 4 at a local swap meet,... I did see two more on a truck for sale. WHen I pointed it out to the owner,... he had no idea. He said,..."I thought it had 15x8's all around". Not until I pointed out the difference, did he believe me.

And when I was having my new exhaust installed, I had a set of 15x7's in the bed, and once I told the muffler shop owner what they were, he was even taken back.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

Nate- That looks awesome!! I think you have inspired me to go with the 4/6 ECE drop on my new project.

Not to hijack, but how rare are the rallye wheels in 15 x 7 in a 5-lug pattern, as opposed to the 6 lug pattern?

The 5-lug version is not rare at all. Very common wheel.

Any 2wd van will have them, they're very easy to find. I think I paid $15 a piece for mine at a junk yard, and that was with rings caps and tires on them.

Adding some info. 1976 brochure, and the nos caps are the short ones. I am unsure what combo of wheels and caps went on what...

The bottom box has a date of 76...

I want that truck too, Keith. I have ALWAYS had a love for the white/blue Cheyenne. matter of fact, my first memories of a "cool" truck was a blue and white Sierra down the road from my parents.

oh Chris, what a beaut! Wish we would be seeing you next w/e!

4 1/4" on the NOS caps, and looks like 5" that are on my wifes truck. Those are identical except the height.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

The guy I am buying my wheels from asked if I wanted 15 x 7" or 8", said he had a set of each for sale.

Is there any advantage to running a 7" on the front of my '63? A disk brake install is in the future, will use OE part.

Anybody need a set? I'm in NE MO, but plan to head to KCMO this weekend.
