late introduction
Well, I've been lurking around for a while now.... But hello I'm Chet I have a 1961 Apache that I bought when I was 15 I'm 26 now.... Originally from Huntsville Alabama but I'm stationed in Altus Oklahoma a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force. I love cars and have been working on them for as long as I can remember...
Anyways I'm really liking the forum and can't wait to get back to my 61 and share my build up with yal..

Re: late introduction
My plans are to:
Remove/replace the torsion bar system with a coilover, rack and pinion system. and lowered about 5" in the front and 6" rear Vintage Air. Fuel injection/throttle body. 700R4 Trans. Relocate the gas tank. Painless wiring. up to 20" rims in rear and maybe 18's up front... And of course replace everything else in between main goal is to make it a comfortable DD....
