Re: 1969 c10 the start of something fun

ok I got the clutch in and now i need your help I am looking for some shocks but the kicker is that they have to be 8" fully compressed I looked at drop shocks but they do not go that short. If any one know a way to reallocate the shocks let me know Ill post some new pic soon. I got my bed cover on and my new rear bumper on and now i am working on getting rid of the bucket seats and putting in a bench seat so i can take the kids for a ride.

Push button starter? any pics of that? I've always thought of putting a push button starter behind the cigarette lighter as a sort of security device. Trucks lookin good, keep up the good work.

Very nice job so far. Still no rub issues in the front, even when turning or braking?

Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming.

How well do them Jeep Coil Springs hold up, I was afraid they would be to light of a gag and if even sitting on the tail gate would bottom it out?

Also what drop do you have in the front?

Re: 1969 c10 the start of something fun

the truck is a weekend toy, but with the jeep springs its fine but with the jeep springs and the 2 1/2'' drop block if you get in the bed and jump it with hit as for the front all i did was cut 2 coils off and cut off the bump stops. I am going to bag the truck at some point. I have all the stuff but the bags and the cups.
Thanks for all the kind words
