1970 GMC Need ideas for the bed

Okay i got a new truck this weekend and have already torn the bed out it was crap rattled like crazy and i could not stand it... I want to put something kinda nice back in but dont have a ton of money to spend and this bed is all the truck really needs other then a few small things here and there... I work at a steel yard and i was thinking of doing this with alum. diamond plate But i really have no clue how to mount the bed and do everything how it should be to make it not rattle... I dont want wood because i will be hauling my dirtbikes with the truck and the bed will be used alot so going with metal .. Any help would be great

I will get a pictures of what i am working with up in a few hours ... there are some mounting points missing i am pretty sure up near the cap on the frame

I think you need to use original thickness wood to get the bed to sit right. Could use sheets of plywood I guess and then bolt diamond plate over that.
