The truck was on craigslist in August. The fire department was accepting bids until 08/28/09 but would sell immediately for $7500.00

I called them on 08/30/09 to find out what ever happened to the truck and was informed that they had had several offers. I made them an offer and a few of the other interested parties couldn't come up with the money and I bought it for significantly less than their "buy it now" price.

An extra $720 to ship it to my door and the rest is history!

$720, that's not a typo? Good grief man, you stole that truck! I would buy them all day at that price, in that condition!

Responding to your previous post, I would keep it very close to stock... I'd pass on the 4" lift. But it's your truck, so do whatever makes you happy!
