GMC Paul's?

Apologies if this is not the right forum for this - I have never purchased from them before, but needing to order some parts and can't seem to reach anyone.

Phone number I am trying is 765-569-2906, just rings and rings....no answer and no VM. Can anyone confirm if this is the correct number, or perhaps they aren't open right now?

Been trying since Friday with same results.

Re: GMC Paul's?

Last month I emailed them and got a response in a day. Try that?

I think on their homepage I remember them saying that due to the lack of phone orders, they no longer took them by phone.

Taken straight from their website....

"Due to the fact that less than 2% of sales & correspondence was by phone, we now offer only online ordering & correspondence."

Shoot them an email. They respond pretty quick and are good people to deal with.

Re: GMC Paul's?

I guess I could understand about not taking phone orders....but to not answer the phone is kinda weird...

I also tried to call them a few weeks ago as I needed answers to some questions about some parts I needed....I got no answer as well....So, I went ahead and called Wes @ Classic Heartbeat....he answers the phone everytime and he is super knowldgeable!

Re: GMC Paul's?

Yeah, I need some questions answered too. That, and I'm just one of those guys that tries to avoid putting my credit card info into a website very often...I know they claim to be secure and all, but I've been jacked before.

I missed the part about no phone orders on their site. They seem to have a good reputation, but with a Yahoo address and not answering the phone, it may not be too easy to deal with if there is a problem with your order as well.

I'll give Classic Heartbeat a ring instead....thanks for the tip!

Re: GMC Paul's?

I've dealt with Paul before. Emailed to see what parts he keeps locally in Rockville because I was picking them up. He keeps different hours. Seems like all responses were either very late at night or early in the morning.

They are VERY SMALL, part time, family operation and sometimes a little tough to deal with. When you can get them they are great to deal with.....but not always the best choice!!!

Re: GMC Paul's?

I just placed a rather large order with them and everything worked out fine. They accidently sent me 1 wrong part but took care of it very quick. I would do business with them again

Re: GMC Paul's?

I just orders some stuff from them and they shipped super fast and all was right. Their web site is a little funky, but the service was great.

Re: GMC Paul's?

I've bought several parts from them and always had good luck. Only thing I had a problem with, was a gas tank kit I bought and when I got home looked at the package, I noticed that it had came from LMC. My fault, I could have checked with them first , and may have saved some money after shipping. They are quick to respond and work with you if you email them. No phone calls.

I saw your Suburban out on CL.....I sure do like the looks of that thing! The blue Longhorn is very cool as well....surprised no one has taken either of those off of your hands.

How does the Burb do with the T-body....I'd imagine driveability is great?

Thanks for the compliment!
Drives great, runs great! I love that 700R4 and the throttle body does great on gas mileage.
In this economy not much is selling over $2500 unless its a great deal. These are priced where they should be and the only way to move something in that price range is to lower it to $3500 so its a screaming deal for someone. I dont need to sell them and I really only want to get rid of one to help finish the others. I have space to store them and I enjoy driving them so I just keep moving forward. The Suburban is at my painters now getting the slight rocker rust repaired and the jams painted. I cant wait to get it back.
Advertising and having three vehicles for sale has really educated me on the ways of the time wasters, looky Lous, tire kickers and picture collectors. I have heard every lame excuse and reason for not following through known to man!
