Longbed Stepside?
Hi Guys,
just a short and simple question: Did GM/Chevy sell the C10 with a longbed stepside bed? Or was there only the shortbed stepside? Thanks logan

Re: Logbed Stepside?
Yes they did. some people here have one. they were mostly used by the state. so there is not Much of them but they did. personally I think it looks odd. check out this post.

Re: Logbed Stepside?
I just saw one the other day at my son's day care. They are definitely an oddity, but kinda neat when you see one for real. I didn't find out which parent owned the truck, but I am going to be on the lookout for it again.

Re: Longbed Stepside?
Yeah like stated above you don't see them very often. Most of them led a hard life and didn't survive it. There is one down the street from my dad's house. Looks pretty sharp.

Re: Longbed Stepside?
i know the electric utility had them here as well as some of the state road crews. not to hijack the thread but if memory serves correct the long steppers always had wooden floors too? Ive never seen a steel floor one

Re: Longbed Stepside?
Hey thomas
there is one here in Germany it belongs to board member los lowrider from Krefeld i believe! Besides that they are popular in the middle east and there´s one other member here that has one but i don´t remember his name at the moment! If you find a long stepper bed and put it on that would definatly be a unique look and very rare! Volker
