trying to remove my dash 65 fleetside dash was wondering do i need to remove the front windshield in order to take it out???

I'd suggest yes, to avoid damaging the glass and gain access to the spotwelds. But note, these dashboards are welded in, they don't unbolt. It will need to be cut and rewelded. Here's a link to an earlier question on the earlier model.
