Driveshaft Clicking..

Hey everybody,
Help again.

With my new 6" lift, my front driveshaft clicks on every rotation. I assume its just the new extreme angle from the front axel. How can i fix this? Upgrade the u joints, updrade the driveshaft? Any body else have this problem? Thanks for the help.

Re: Driveshaft Clicking..

Does the front have a double joint already?

Find the problem first then decide your course of action before shelling out the cash for a new drive shaft, could be something really simple.

Re: Driveshaft Clicking..

yes the front is a double joint. it has one u joint on the front torward the axel, and two more at the other end by the tranny. i know it at that joint, because i removed the whole front driveshaft completely, and the noise went away.
