Ram horn 2.5" for 72 4x4
Y Jack, help me. I tried to find this, but cannot find which side 2.5" ram horn to get that will not interfere w the frame/cross member. From what the search dug up, you had to cut/grind off the generator brackets off of the ones you got, which would mean that they are the L (DRIVERS) side because unless I am wrong is the side the generator came on, also seems like the L side is more $$ when purchasing.
These are going in a 72 4x4 and I want to get the correct ones the first time and be done with it. Thanks in advance.

Re: Ram horn 2.5" for 72 4x4
Here's the thread where I got the info on the ramhorns I used. I think I have the box in my shop and will run out there in a bit and see what additional info I can get for you. Too bad member Pickmup can't still get these.
I'm about 99% sure I got mine from http://www.performanceexhaustplus.com/ for like $58 each - pretty good deal IMO. Not sure if the price is still the same.

Re: Ram horn 2.5" for 72 4x4
Thanks Yukon, very helpful. Another question 4 you, was the bend from the manifold going back done by the muffler shop or did you fab them up from mandrel bent tubing? Thanks.
For anyone reading, they were the drivers side, and some were sold as passenger side kits when thry ran out of the ds, and only had to tap and plug or weld the holes up.

The exhaust shop took care of me completely, I didn't have to supply them with any tubing. Here is a post I did when I got the exhaust installed.
