Fuel Gauge Question
I filled up my gas tank in the 70 GMC yesterday. The gauge went WAY beyond the full line by at least 1.5 inches.
Any suggestions on how to fix it? Or to start looking to see what is wrong? Thanks, Dusty

your sending unit could be bad or your gauge. disconnect the wire going to your sendingunit and ground it to a goos source if gauge sweeps gauge fully your sending unit is bad, if nothing changes your gauges is bad.

I've had this happen before. In my case it was a bad sending unit.
