I saw a complete after market bed at the Des Moines, IA swap meet and it looked pretty darn nice to me. I'm thinking about going that direction on one of my trucks. As unclewatts said, some of the parts can have issues so you need to try and find a dealer close enough that you can go look at the parts and pick them up to save shipping costs. It seems to me that the quality of the parts keep improving if you buy from established dealers. I would never buy parts from any dealer that is not knowledgeable about our trucks and what parts are good and what parts to avoid.
