Re: One more rear end question

80s and 90s F body rearends are notoriously crap. Weak axles, small ring gear, ect.....they are among the first things replaced when someone starts modding those cars. I have seen several grenade on the street with a good romp on nothing more than a performance radial, let alone on a good dr or slicks.

Re: One more rear end question

Pull the brake stuff and sell the housing. It's not the right width or bolt pattern.

Thanks Dave and Clay thatīs what I was thinking if the rearend was weak for the weigth of the truck, do you think the brake system will work in a 73-87 or newest truck rear end ?
